Panelists will share their experiences which deviate from traditional dogmas of breast reconstruction

Upon completion of this learning activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Examine emerging practices in breast reconstruction that challenge traditional surgical dogmas.

  2. Analyze the rationale, risks, and outcomes associated with non-traditional approaches to breast reconstruction presented by expert panelists.

  3. Critically assess when deviation from established reconstructive principles may be appropriate based on patient-specific factors.

  4. Incorporate innovative and experience-based insights into reconstructive decision-making to advance patient-centered care.
