Inside the Incision: Breast Surgery Cases Friday, October 16 Fri, Oct 16 2:00-3:30 p.m. CDT
Inside the Incision is an interactive CME series that immerses participants in real-world surgical practice through recorded procedures paired with live expert narration. By pausing at critical intraoperative moments for discussion, the series fosters deeper insight into surgical decision-making, technique refinement, and complication management across key areas of aesthetic plastic surgery.
This session presents recorded breast revision and augmentation surgeries with expert-led narration, highlighting complex clinical scenarios and technical approaches. Participants will engage with the surgeon during pauses at pivotal operative moments to explore implant selection, pocket modification, and management of prior surgical outcomes. The session emphasizes individualized treatment planning and refinement of surgical techniques in both primary and revision contexts. Interactive dialogue supports deeper understanding of challenges and evolving practices in aesthetic breast surgery.
Upon completion of this learning activity, participants should be able to:
Compare surgical approaches for breast augmentation and revision, including implant selection and pocket management, in varied clinical scenarios.
Assess intraoperative strategies for addressing complications or suboptimal outcomes in breast surgery to enhance procedural effectiveness.
