Inside the Incision: Aesthetic Body - Rib Contouring Sun, Oct 18 2:00-3:30 p.m. CDT

Inside the Incision is an interactive CME series that immerses participants in real-world surgical practice through recorded procedures paired with live expert narration. By pausing at critical intraoperative moments for discussion, the series fosters deeper insight into surgical decision-making, technique refinement, and complication management across key areas of plastic surgery.

This session focuses on a recorded rib contouring procedure, accompanied by live narration and interactive discussion during critical operative phases. Participants will gain insight into patient selection, anatomical considerations, and surgical techniques specific to aesthetic body contouring involving rib modification. The pause-and-Q&A format facilitates exploration of nuanced decision-making and procedural risks. The session aims to advance understanding of this specialized and evolving area of aesthetic surgery.

Upon completion of this learning activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Describe the key anatomical landmarks and surgical steps involved in rib contouring procedures for aesthetic body shaping.

  2. Analyze intraoperative considerations and risk mitigation strategies associated with rib contouring to support safe and effective practice.
