Thighplasty and Brachioplasty Markings Friday, October 16 Fri, Oct 16 5:00-6:00 p.m. CDT
This demonstration-focused session highlights preoperative marking as a critical component of planning in complex body contouring procedures. Faculty will present recorded marking demonstrations for challenging cases, including post–massive weight loss patients, combined abdominoplasty with liposuction, thighplasty, brachioplasty, and high-definition liposculpture. Emphasis will be placed on patient positioning, identification of key anatomical landmarks, and the application of aesthetic and surgical planning principles. The session will illustrate how precise preoperative markings inform intraoperative decision-making and contribute to optimized surgical outcomes.
Upon completion of this learning activity, participants should be able to:
Analyze the role of preoperative marking in planning complex body contouring procedures.
Identify key anatomical landmarks and patient positioning considerations for accurate surgical markings.
Apply aesthetic and procedural planning principles to preoperative marking in thighplasty, brachioplasty, and related procedures.
Evaluate how preoperative markings influence intraoperative decisions and surgical outcomes.
