Vaginal Rejunevation and Labiaplasty Fri, Oct 16 2:00-3:30 p.m. CDT

This session provides a multidisciplinary overview of female genital aesthetic procedures, including both surgical and non-surgical approaches. Faculty will review indications, techniques, and outcomes for labiaplasty (labia minora and majora), clitoral hood reduction, and vaginoplasty, alongside emerging non-surgical modalities. Discussion will emphasize patient counseling, expectation management, and the distinction between functional and aesthetic indications. Additional focus will be placed on postoperative care, as well as the ethical and regulatory considerations relevant to this evolving area of practice, with an emphasis on evidence-based outcomes and delivering respectful, patient-centered care.

Upon completion of this learning activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Evaluate indications and procedural options for surgical and non-surgical female genital aesthetic interventions.

  2. Analyze surgical techniques for labiaplasty, clitoral hood reduction, and vaginoplasty, including key considerations for optimizing outcomes.

  3. Differentiate functional and aesthetic indications to support appropriate patient selection and counseling.

  4. Apply strategies for effective patient communication, expectation management, and postoperative care.
