Complex Strategies in Aesthetic Body Surgeries Friday, October 16 Fri, Oct 16 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. CDT
This session challenges experienced body contouring surgeons to present and critically analyze their most complex cases. Faculty will showcase advanced techniques, innovative approaches, and nuanced, multifactorial decision-making in aesthetic body contouring. Case discussions will focus on challenging anatomical scenarios, including patients following massive weight loss, revision procedures, combined operations, and difficult body habitus presentations. Emphasis will be placed on integrating artistic judgment with patient safety considerations to optimize outcomes in high-complexity surgical settings.
Upon completion of this learning activity, participants should be able to:
Analyze complex aesthetic body contouring cases to identify key anatomical and procedural challenges.
Evaluate advanced surgical techniques and approaches used in high-complexity body contouring scenarios.
Integrate safety considerations and risk mitigation strategies into decision-making for revision and combined procedures.
Apply principles of aesthetic judgment to optimize outcomes in patients with challenging body habitus or post–massive weight loss anatomy.
