This panel focuses on contemporary strategies for repairing complex abdominal wall defects. Experts will discuss patient selection, preoperative optimization, component separation techniques, mesh selection and placement, management of contamination, and approaches to challenging hernias, with an emphasis on improving functional outcomes and reducing complications.
