Improving Pain Outcomes and Function in Reconstruction: TMR and RPNI Outside of Amputation Fri, Oct 16 8:00-9:30 a.m. CDT

TMR and RPNI are known for their beneficial aspects in amputation care, including reducing chronic residual limb and phantom pain. However, there are many applications outside of amputation, such as in mastectomy or nerve resections, where these techniques are incredibly beneficial.

Upon completion of this learning activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Discuss the basics of TMR and RPNI

  2. Identify four operations outside of amputation where these techniques are helpful

  3. Discuss billing practices for these techniques

  4. Present data regarding outcomes
