This session will compare submuscular, sub-glandular, and subfascial pocket strategies in breast augmentation, examining their biomechanical, aesthetic, and complication profiles. Faculty will review decision-making frameworks, technical nuances, and evidence-based outcomes to optimize pocket selection and surgical execution for diverse patient anatomy and aesthetic goals.
Upon completion of this learning activity, participants should be able to:
Differentiate the indications, advantages, and limitations of submuscular, sub-glandular, and subfascial pocket placement.
Develop a patient-specific operative plan that aligns pocket choice with anatomy, implant characteristics, and aesthetic goals.
