Dueling Pocket Planes and Techniques Sat, Oct 17 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. CDT

This session will compare submuscular, sub-glandular, and subfascial pocket strategies in breast augmentation, examining their biomechanical, aesthetic, and complication profiles. Faculty will review decision-making frameworks, technical nuances, and evidence-based outcomes to optimize pocket selection and surgical execution for diverse patient anatomy and aesthetic goals.

Upon completion of this learning activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Differentiate the indications, advantages, and limitations of submuscular, sub-glandular, and subfascial pocket placement.

  2. Develop a patient-specific operative plan that aligns pocket choice with anatomy, implant characteristics, and aesthetic goals.

  3. Apply advanced surgical techniques to execute pocket creation safely, minimizing complications and maximizing long-term outcomes.
