This session will provide an organized review of indications, evaluation strategies, and operative approaches for revision breast augmentation. Faculty will address common challenges such as malposition, size or shape dissatisfaction, capsular changes, soft-tissue limitations, and implant-related complications, emphasizing evidence-based planning and techniques to restore stable, aesthetic outcomes.
Upon completion of this learning activity, participants should be able to:
Recognize common indications for revision breast augmentation and accurately assess contributing anatomic and implant-related factors.
Formulate a systematic surgical plan that incorporates appropriate implant selection, pocket modification, capsular management, and soft-tissue optimization.
Implement safe and effective revision techniques to achieve durable aesthetic results and reduce the risk of recurrent deformities.
