Management of Capsular Contracture Thursday, October 15 Thu, Oct 15 1:30-3:00 p.m. CDT
This session will review current evidence and surgical strategies for managing Grade III–IV capsular contracture. Faculty will examine diagnostic criteria, capsular management options, implant and pocket considerations, and the role of adjunctive materials and postoperative therapies to support consistent, patient-specific revision outcomes.
Upon completion of this learning activity, participants should be able to:
Identify the key clinical and anatomic features of advanced capsular contracture that guide surgical decision-making.
Develop an evidence-based operative plan that incorporates appropriate capsular techniques, implant choices, pocket management, and postoperative protocols.
Apply effective surgical interventions by integrating current data and expert-informed best practices to optimize revision outcomes.
