Anchoring the Face: Perioral and Chin Saturday, October 11 Sat, Oct 11 8:00-9:30 a.m. CDT
The perioral region and chin serve as structural anchors for facial harmony, yet they are often under-addressed in rejuvenation strategies. As aesthetic standards evolve, so too must our approach to treating volume loss, contour changes, and dynamic aging in these critical areas. This session will explore both surgical and noninvasive options for enhancing the perioral complex and chin, including dermal fillers, skin resurfacing, lip lift techniques, and genioplasty. Expert faculty will present algorithms for patient assessment, procedural selection, and combining modalities to restore balance, projection, and youthful proportions.
Upon completion of this learning activity, participants should be able to:
- Evaluate age-related changes in the perioral region and chin, including volume loss, skin texture, and structural support deficits.
- Differentiate between noninvasive and surgical interventions for perioral and chin rejuvenation, based on patient goals and anatomic needs.
- Design comprehensive aesthetic treatment plans that integrate multiple modalities to achieve natural, balanced facial enhancement.
