Reconstructive Liposculpture: Strategies to Reverse Unfavorable Outcomes and How to Avoid Them Thursday, October 9 Thu, Oct 9 1:30-3:00 p.m. CDT
Unfavorable outcomes in liposuction and body contouring can present complex challenges requiring both technical skill and aesthetic judgment to correct. This session focuses on reconstructive liposculpture techniques aimed at improving contour irregularities, asymmetries, and volume deficiencies following primary procedures. Expert faculty will share case-based strategies for revisional planning, tissue remodeling, and prevention of complications. Emphasis will be placed on understanding the underlying causes of suboptimal results and applying evidence-based approaches to avoid them in primary surgery.
Upon completion of this learning activity, participants should be able to:
- Diagnose common aesthetic and functional complications associated with liposuction and liposculpture.
- Implement reconstructive techniques such as fat grafting, contour correction, and tissue management to address postoperative deformities.
- Apply preventive strategies and intraoperative best practices to reduce the risk of unfavorable outcomes in primary body contouring procedures.
