This session will examine common and uncommon causes of failure in hand and upper extremity reconstruction. Through a review of challenging cases, faculty will explore technical errors, decision-making pitfalls, and system-based factors that contribute to suboptimal outcomes. Emphasis will be placed on constructive reflection, resilience, and adopting strategies for continuous professional growth and patient safety.
Upon completion of this learning activity, participants should be able to:
- Analyze contributing factors to failures in hand and upper extremity reconstruction.
- Apply evidence-based techniques to reduce risk of complications.
