What's New and Exciting in Flaps in the Upper Extremity Saturday, October 11 Sat, Oct 11 8:00-9:30 a.m. CDT
This session will explore recent innovations in flap selection, design, and surgical technique for upper extremity reconstruction. Through case-based discussions, faculty will review novel applications of traditional flaps as well as emerging microsurgical and perforator flap options. The session will also address strategies for improving aesthetic and functional results.
Upon completion of this learning activity, participants should be able to:
- Describe new developments in flap techniques for upper extremity reconstruction.
- Compare indications, advantages, and limitations of various flap options.
- Integrate innovative flap approaches into surgical planning to optimize patient outcomes.
