The Future of Breast Surgery: New Innovations and Beyond Friday, October 10 Fri, Oct 10 2:00-3:00 p.m. CDT
This panel will explore the evolving landscape of breast surgery with a focus on innovation, collaboration, and advocacy. Our objectives are to examine cutting-edge techniques that redefine aesthetic and reconstructive outcomes while preserving patient safety and satisfaction. The session will consider how AI can be harnessed to personalize patient experiences and streamline aesthetic practice management, all while preserving the vital role of human artistry, judgment, and empathy. Presentations will highlight the emerging role of minimally invasive breast-preserving augmentation and advances in autologous tissue augmentation as natural and durable alternatives to traditional methods. Beyond surgical innovation, the session will address the growing need for collective action and collaboration among plastic surgeons, including the potential for organized efforts to achieve fair reimbursement and professional sustainability. Together, these discussions will chart a vision for the future of breast surgery that integrates surgical artistry, technological progress, and strategic advocacy.
