Learn how to effectively complete facelifts under local anesthesia.
At the end of this activity participants will be able to:
- Understand the motivation to perform awake facelifts.
- Recognize which face and neck techniques are amenable to awake surgery and if this meets surgical and patient goals.
- Formulate a plan for safe local anesthetic and comfortable patient experience.
- Discuss the pitfalls of awake facial surgery and how to mitigate them.
