This panel will present surgeon prosthetist teams working together to achieve functional patient outcomes.
At the end of this activity participants will be able to:
- Identify ways to collaborate with prosthetists for patients with hand and digital amputations.
- Discuss optimal management of amputations with regards to future prosthetic use.
- Discuss modern prosthetics for the upper extremity.
- Discuss complications and failures associated with prosthetic use.
