In this presentation we talk about three different topics in Aesthetic and Reconstructive Breast Surgery. First an approach to the treatment of Breast Asymmetries and how to manage this problem by Esteban Elena, MD, Then ,the aesthetic incision in breast reconstruction by Sandra Filiciani, MD and finally Subpectoral implantation in Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery. A 45-years experience, with special reference to how to avoid the dynamic deformity by Oscar Zimman, MD ,PhD ,FACS
At the end of this activity participants will be able to:
- Discuss the difficult management of breast asymmetries: implants, reduction and mastopexy combined
- Outline the breast aesthetic approach in breast reconstruction with implants
- Identify the gap between the more usual submuscular pockets and the technique proposed by the author to avoid complications such as the dynamic deformity
