Man vs. Nature: Animal Bites and Wilderness Trauma Saturday, September 21 Sat, Sep 21 4:30-5:30 p.m.
This program will deal with unique injuries sustained from various outdoor activities. The focus will be on injuries not seen routinely, including exposure related burns and frostbite, venomous bites, large animal attacks, body part crushes, avulsions and amputations. The program will address both the medical and surgical management of these injuries.
Accreditation: The American Society of Plastic Surgeons® (ASPS) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Designation: The ASPS designates this live activity for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
