Failure as Fuel: Optimizing Judgment and Experience Saturday, September 21 Sat, Sep 21 8:00-9:00 a.m.
Clinical challenges and, frankly, failure can be difficult to discuss openly with colleagues. The goal of this panel is to present a group of true experts in the field of reconstructive and aesthetic breast surgery discussing complications and how they grew from that experience. Identify the elements which caused the failure and mitigate failure risk in future attempts.
At the end of this activity participants will be able to:
- Analyze clinical failures to determine a root cause or the series of smaller factors.
- Determine best steps to develop an alternative approach.
- Implement that approach and analyze the outcome of the new technique or protocol.
