Peri-Oral Rejuvenation Mon, Sep 23 1:30-3:00 p.m.

While the facelift is the cornerstone of facial rejuvenation, it does little to address the peri oral area. This area needs to be addressed by ancillary techniques including resurfacing using lasers, or chemical peeling agents, local direct excisions, fat grafting and synthetic fillers. The choices depend on the degree of deformity and Fitzpatrick skin type. The panelists will detail their approach to this often recalcitrant and under treated area of facial aging.

At the end of this activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Describe the most appropriate filler for various facial aging problems in the peri oral area;
  2. Describe the means of lip lifting;
  3. Describe means of addressing the nasolabial fold.

Program Subject to Change.
