Buttock Fat Grafting: Insights from the Multi-Society Task Force Sunday, September 22 Sun, Sep 22 9:00-10:00 a.m.
This course will discuss the current landscape of safety and complications with gluteal fat grafting. Current state-of-the-art approaches from the Multi-Society Task Force will be presented to help optimize safety in this procedure. New devices and technological approaches will be discussed.
At the end of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Identify the anatomy of the gluteal region;
- Discuss study findings targeted at avoiding intra-muscular fat injection and correctly injecting into the subcutaneous tissue;
- Discuss different techniques for fat injection, including power and hand assisted injection methods;
- List things to avoid doing to limit complications.
