International Perspectives in Abdominoplasty: A Step by Step Approach Thursday, October 19 Thu, Oct 19
The panelists will go step by step through their markings and technique, and how it changes according to the clinical presentation. They will describe their positioning, tumescent amount and technique, incision placement, dissection extent, depth and amount of liposuction, plication technique, quilting suture, umbilical management, and postoperative care . There will be speakers from 4 different continents each with different techniques and preferences.
At the end of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Identify how the technique should vary according to the patient's specific anatomy. Identify the safety extent and plan of liposuction.
- Discuss options for preoperative optimization and postoperative care.
- Review the different options for each step of the abdominoplasty.
