Panelists will share their expertise on incorporating treatment of myofacial pain syndrome into a plastic surgery practice. Topics of discussion will include a review of surgical treatment of migraine surgery, how to build referral patterns, an overview of relevant coding and billing considerations, and others.
At the end of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Review the anatomy and pathophysiology behind surgical treatment of headache
- Discuss the surgical treatment of myofacial pain for surgeons of all experience levels
- Appreciate approaches to working with nonsurgical colleagues and developing referral patterns
