Legal Issues Surrounding the Use of Patient Images Fri, Sep 20 8:00-9:00 a.m.

Panel to review some 'case studies' or examples of legal issues related to use of patient images including website and social media use. Panelists will review social media standards for take overs and website use as well.

At the end of this activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Identify legal pitfalls related to use of patient images;
  2. Discuss how to obtain appropriate consent for the use of patient images;
  3. Learn strategies to avoid legal issues related to use of patient photos.
