Wrist Pain: Diagnosis and Treatment Saturday, September 29 Sat, Sep 29 4:30-6:00 p.m.
Wrist pain from a variety of etiologies can be a vexing problem for both patient and provider. This course will bravely delve into the common causes of wrist pain. Common patholgoies will be examined including tendonopathies, carpal instability, distal radioulnar joint problems, and arthritis.
At the end of this activity, participants will be able to: 1. Describe common wrist tendonopathies and their nonoperative and operative treatments 2. Describe the most common carpal instabilities and their treatment 3. Describe the basic anatomy and pathoanatomy of the distal radioulnar joint 4. Describe common wrist arthritis etiologies and basic treatment options
