This on-demand program will provide a comprehensive overview of the use of robotics in plastic surgery, from initiating a robotics program; current state of the science including obstacles in establishing a plastic surgery robotics program and the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in robotics. The latest updates from the ASPS/PSF Robotic Task Force will also be shared with participants.
At the end of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Recognize the benefits and barriers to implementing a plastic surgery robotics program.
- Define how AI used in combination with robotics in surgery.
- Explain what is next on the horizon for this field.
