New concepts for improving female Hi-Def liposuction will be discussed. The pros and cons, including complications of energy devices, will be discussed. Mini and full abdominoplasty patient selection and an algorithm for treatment will be discussed along with technological advancements.
At the end of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Outline the anatomy and surrounding areas of the female torso.
- Identify the importance of Scarpa's fascia in maintaining the integrity of the abdominal wall regarding the elasticity and lessening of seroma formation.
- Learn the role of umbilicus shape and position in the aesthetics of the female abdomen.
- Discuss the curves and proportions, rather than etched lines, being paramount in creating or restoring the aesthetics of the female abdomen in liposuction or abdominoplasty.
