Multidisciplinary Mandible Reconstruction Thu, Oct 27 3:00-4:30 p.m. EDT

This multidisciplinary panel discussion will address novel techniques in mandible reconstruction. The use of virtual surgical planning, various flap choices, and varying donor sites will be described.

At the end of this activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Review various etiologies leading to complex mandibular defects
  2. Discuss optimal ways to coordinate multidisciplinary care between craniomaxillofacial surgeons and microsurgeons
  3. Highlight approaches to pre-surgical planning (including virtual planning) and intra-operative management to optimize outcomes
