This detailed course will cover state-of-the-art Vascularized Composite Allotransplantation specifically focusing on Face, Hand and Abdominal Wall transplantation. Specific focus will be on immunological concepts and cost-benefit analysis of the unique transplantations.

At the end of this activity participants will be able to:

  1. List techniques for face, hand and abdominal wall transplantation.
  2. Identify risks and benefits of different immunosuppressive protocols.
  3. Discuss the financial risks and benefits of starting a vascularized allotransplantation program
