Thighplasty: Managing the Problematic Global Thigh Saturday, September 21 Sat, Sep 21 8:00-9:00 a.m.
This course will help surgeons identify degree of skin laxity and type of thighplasty most appropriate. Surgical markings for thighplasty will be thoroughly reviewed. Various procedures including crescent, short scar, long scar, L-thighplasty and other approaches will be discussed, along with excision versus avulsion techniques. Complications will be reviewed as well as how to avoid them.
At the end of this activity, participants will be able to:
- List various procedures for a given thigh deformity
- Identify appropriate landmarks and how to mark the patient
- Outline potential complications and how to avoid them
