Social Media Strategies for 2019 Sun, Sep 30 1:30-3:00 p.m.

Social media is now mainstream and used by many, if not all Plastic Surgeons, and certainly most of our patients. This course will present strategies to optimize social media as an educational tool for patients, to improve transparency in social media posts, to make social media a "safe space" for patients, and to improve professionalism among Plastic Surgeons using social media.

At the end of this activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Develop strategies for optimizing social media as an educational tool for patients.
  2. Develop strategies for improving transparency in social media posts.
  3. Develop strategies for making social media a safe space for patients.
  4. Develop strategies for improving professionalism among plastic surgeons using social media.
