The Fresh Start Caring For Kids Foundation Premier Annual Giving Celebration

The Party With a Purpose includes: food, drinks, entertainment, silent and live auctions, live entertainment by Fifty Amp Fuse, the opportunity to mingle with sports celebrities and the chance to support a wonderful organization.
Fresh Start Caring for Kids Foundation, a charitable partnership between The Plastic Surgery Foundation and Fresh Start Surgical Gifts, transforms the lives of disadvantaged infants, children, and teens with physical deformities caused by birth defects, accidents, abuse, or disease through the gift of reconstructive surgery and related health care services. Surgeries are performed at the University of Chicago Medical Center Comer Children’s Hospital.

The Plastic Surgery Foundation seeks to foster the development of the best new technological innovations and inventions in the field of cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery. Submit your proposal and compete to win a $5,000 award in The PSF Shark Tank Innovation Challenge at Plastic Surgery The Meeting.
Five business plans will be selected, by a preliminary review committee, to be presented to a panel of "shark tank" judges comprised of physicians and corporate executives during a closed-door session in Chicago on Saturday, October 11. The top two winning business plans selected during the closed-door session will be presented during The PSF Shark Tank general session panel on Monday, October 13. Each inventor will receive their $5,000 award and be presented with the opportunity to be mentored by members of the judges' panel.
The PSF Shark Tank Innovation Challenge is open to plastic surgeons, physicians, nurses, allied health professionals, engineers, and entrepreneurs. Applicants should submit a two-page executive summary of their business plan describing their plastic surgery-related innovation/invention to The PSF no later than 5:00 p.m. (EST) on August 25, 2014. Awesome Aquarium Adventure

Fee: $175/adult; $95/child (Fee includes transportation, brunch, special admission, animal encounter and specified exhibits)
You’ve never seen The Shedd Aquarium quite like this before. Dive into the depths as we begin with a private brunch buffet in the Soundings Café and an exclusive Animal Encounter on the sea otter overlook. Interact with the Shedd’s creatures which include boas, iguanas, skinks, hermit crabs, millipedes, tortoises and snakes. Afterwards, meet the sharks as you explore the Wild Reef, claim your VIP pass to the Aquatic Show, and immerse yourself in the beautiful and delicate world of the Jellies. Ample time will remain to tour the aquarium at your leisure.
